Have you ever suffered a miscarriage?
Blood clotting is one of the causes related to a high risk of misscarriage.
Use your DNA to obtain your life information and discover your risk level.
Did you know?
According to official data from the WHO, 20% of pregnancies worldwide end in miscarriage. In Latin America it is estimated that one third of all women have a miscarriage at some point in their reproductive years.
A spontaneous abortion is the spontaneous loss of the fetus before the 20th week of gestation and occurs due to circumstances beyond the control of the mother.
Avoid complications and trace a healthy path for your pregnancy with the study of female infertility associated with thrombophilias.
Strengthen your knowledge about yourself to improve the health of your future baby.
Each person is a different case, even from the DNA, that is why with this study you will have the necessary information so that you, in support of your trusted obstetrician, can define an action plan to strengthen the health of your body and the of your baby and with this avoid or reduce the risk of harmful complications for your pregnancy in the near future.
What is this study based on?
In this report, we present the results of your genetic analysis of Female Infertility associated with thrombophilias based on your genotype. Polymorphisms in these genes can over-activate coagulation processes, affect homocysteine metabolism or cause methylation deregulation, causing an increased risk of developing thrombosis, heart attacks, capillary damage and cardiovascular diseases. The report contains information on 11 SNPs in genes associated with thrombophilias which are highlighted in the panel below this text.
For whom is the study of female infertility recommended?
- It serves for every woman who has suffered a miscarriage in the course of her life.
- For women who plan to have children and seek to have the information through their DNA to make better decisions regarding the subject.
Interpretation of results
We highly recommend going to your obstetrician for a good implementation, as well as the correct interpretation of this study.
Process to carry out the study
The sample for the study of Female Infertility associated with thrombophilia is a simple saliva sample that is taken with special oral swabs. The sample collection is painless and you can even take it yourself with our kit for genomic medicine. Once the sample is taken, the process until the result takes between 7 and 10 business days.
